The Climate Reality Project is the Research branch of Students for a Sustainable Campus that has been formed to serve a binary purpose. The first part of their mission is to educate students and community members about the social, economic, and environmental impacts of climate change, especially within the context of Mississippi and the broader Southeastern United States. The final part of their purpose is to play a more actionable role at Mississippi State University. The organization creates plans to help Mississippi State University become a more sustainable and green university. To get involved in the Climate Reality Project, join the Students for a Sustainable Campus Research Committee, or follow them on Instagram @msstateclimatereality.
